i have a new boy and should probably update my characters anyway, so.
JAGGED FEL
If you've been reading Jaina since oh, about 2009, you probably recognize the name Jag Fel. Making his debut in the New Jedi Order books in the EU/Legends, Jag is an Imperial military officer and pilot who works closely with Jaina (and whichever boy is following her around at any point in time) as they fight the Yuuzhan Vong. He's a human raised among the blue-skinned humanoid Chiss, part of a large military family with an Imperial baron for a dad and a former holostar actress for a mom. Interesting setup he's got there.
Of course things changed at FH, but: once upon a time he and Jaina got together after she graduated and got stuck at home for five years, broke up, and they ended up on opposite sides of a war with the Killiks, which is what we not-so-affectionately refer to as the bug books. It didn't end well for Jag- he ended up helping Jaina out when he shouldn't have, basically bankrupted his family, ended up shot down on a world called Tenupe and got stranded there for two years. When he came back, he'd basically been severed from his family due to Chiss cultural stuff, took up as a bounty hunter for a while, then ended up back in Jaina's orbit when they started going after Dark Jedi and Sith like Jacen Solo. Naturally the two got back together, and lived happily ever after.
…Except as all of that was winding down, Jag more or less got installed as Head of State of the Imperial Remnant against his will. Worse, he was actually really good at the job. He's actually kind of surprisingly progressive, actually cares about the Empire and the people in it, and even tries to bring democracy out there, which they are quite possibly not ready for. And because the Legacy comic (that Sia and Cade come from) gave me bits of a future here but they canceled the EU before telling the story, Jag saw how badly the democracy thing was going especially when a Sith was in the mix and had to get himself promoted to Emperor to save the people from themselves and keep the galaxy from ending up in a repeat of the same war Luke, Han and Leia ended up fighting.
(Sigh.)
So yeah, Emperor.
He's way, way better than the last guy, though, and per Legacy he kept things nice and peaceful for two generations so looks like it was for the best. He's never going to be thrilled, but he's resigned to it, and he and Jaina are married and raising two little seven-year-old princes named Dax and Daniel, and he's got their Tahiri serving as his bodyguard/leader of the Imperial Knights (#ThreesomeInTheImperialRemnant). And they lived happy ever after.
…Except this week circumstances are going to end up with them all hiding out on this cool planet in another galaxy that Jaina just so happens to have ties to for a while. So he's doing emperor WFH and I made him teach because I could, and I get to feel real weird about playing my own husband.
-47 years old.
-Looks pretty noticeable. 5'8" or so, with (despite the icons) a scar running from his eyebrow to his hairline, where it ends in a white streak in his short black hair.
-Dax has the hair too. Idk how it's genetic, it just is somehow.
-Looks expensive because he's not paying for it. You know what, if he's stuck in this position for the rest of his life then your taxpayer dollars can give him nice clothes.
-Comes off stuffy as hell. He's better once you get to know him, but he very much radiates an air of "I've been military since I was like 13 and I'm canonically described as probably not being able to slouch."
-Has visited Fandom once or twice before, and some of your characters are at his wedding to someone who's been around for a terrifying amount of years, so you can feel free to recognize him or his name.

JAINA SOLO FEL
-44 years old, graduate of the class of 2009.

sith_happened, niece of tatooine_doofus, cousin of momslittleassassin, sort of adopted family member of weetuskenraider, and I am my own great-grandma.
-Nepo baby.
-Jedi Master, though not part of the Order anymore. She will always have her lightsaber on her unless otherwise specified (sorry, Dean).
-Still trains like it's her job (which, kinda) and can probably beat you in a fight. She's brutally good, once took down a Sith Lord, it's her whole thing. .
-Also an Empress. NOT THRILLED ABOUT IT. Life's funny.
-Married toowmytoe, lol.
-Mom to nearly eight-year-old twins Dax and Daniel.
REY SKYWALKER
-From current Star Wars canon.
-24 years old.
-Jedi, who gets to restart the Order and it's fine, no pressure, it's just a lot of stuff and she's only one goddamn person okay, IT'S FINE.
-But also still learning a lot here and processing what she's learning and also she's got an insane warehouse with an obstacle course and lava and woodchucks.
-Orphan from a desert world called Jakku, and her standards for a lot of things are very low.
-Possibly overplayed. Idc.
KITTY PRYDE-BARTON
-From the 616 X-Men comics.
-Pretty far removed from it at this point.
-31 years old.
-Marred toso_hawkward and mom to Lexi, who I think is finishing up kindergarten. Why are we old.
-Mutant whose power is being intangible and phasing through solid objects. Pretty rarely uses doors. Walks into places through the wall, it's a whole thing.
-Runs Caritas. If anyone wants a job, hit me up.
SABINE WREN
-From Star Wars Rebels/Ahsoka.
-28? years old.
-Neglected, oops.
-Stands out in a crowd, mainly the long hair (despite icons) that's always dyed bright colors.
-Mandalorian warrior whose planet got razed by the Empire, whole family killed, has a bunch of survivor's guilt. Doesn't wear the armor anymore.
-Has undergone some Jedi training under Ahsoka. Doesn't have the Force. It hasn't gone well.
-Manages Wellspring Arms. See above, re: jobs.
NATALIE (aka ME)
-She/her
-On CST.
-I work a bad job that is sucking my soul out and I probably need a second person doing my job. I might flake out during the day due to it, or I'll fast ping because I need something to do while dying inside.
-I don't have a single trip planned this year and it's killing me. KILLING ME.
